<p>My son was accepted as a Comp Sci major and becasue of scholarship money Pitt has gone from a safety to a serious contender.</p>
<p>How is the Comp Sci program at Pitt? Are internships available to those who want to do them?</p>

<p>DD (a freshman) will take her first computer science class next semester, so I don’t know much. There is a fifth-year masters and students can also take some classes at Carnegie Mellon. You will find that quite a few really top students end up at Pitt because of the great merit scholarships.</p>
