Computer Science Masters

Hi, I wanted to know what is the requirement to get into Comp Sci Masters. I am a freshman in BS Computer Engineering Technology and minor in Computer Sci. Is this enough to get in CS Master program? or should I change my major to Computer Sci? Thanks

Check the entrance requirements for CS Master’s programs of interest.

Check the courses which you will have taken by the time you graduate.

If 1 is a subset of 2, output yes. Else, output no.

I strongly recommend switching to CS as a Computer Engineering Technology degree is a technician degree. You can get accepted into the CS master program but for most graduate courses have prerequisites that are mostly junior and senior level CS courses so you would probably want to take 3-4 more classes than what is required for a minor. Also you will have to work hard to go engineering technology to CS. Since the engineering technology is very hands on, but CS on the other hand has a lot theory and requires strong problem solving skills and logic
