High school junior, interested in combining my experience/passion for computer science with strong entrepreneurial skills/business. Ultimately, I hope to be in a management/development at a large tech firm or start up. I have strong extracurriculars/grades/ in both areas and am beginning to look into college programs. Are there any college programs where you can be directly admitted to a combined computer science/MBA program? If so, what are the most prestigious programs? Also, would appreciate any advice from those of you who have already been down this path. Did it pay off? Or would you recommend an alternate route? Thanks so much!
I’ve never heard of a program that combines an undergraduate CS degree with a graduate-level MBA. There are lots of undergraduate programs in CS that have a business emphasis. Here’s an example -

I’m not personally a fan of combined CS/business programs. It seems like you come out of them with half-a$$ed skills in both CS and business. If you’re interested in creating a start-up, I’d go for a straight CS degree and take a few marketing and/or entrepreneurship classes as electives.
Thank you so much for your advice!
Cornell has a 5 year BS/MBA program but it isn’t direct admit. You apply in your junior year of undergrad.
If you are interested in entrepreneurship, look at Lehigh. You can minor in entrepreneurship with any major… We were impressed with the program.
