I am accepted to Purdue for the fall session. I gave my preference on the application as Computer Engineering.
Though now that I have been talking to a lot of people I am really confused whether to take Computer Engineering or take Computer Science instead.
I am an International and really not sure what the two majors cover. I would like to know the distiction between the 2.

Congrats on getting accepted. I just transferred to Purdue in the summer and I love it here. I was also confused on whether to major in CS or CompE, but after looking into the course descriptions I liked CS much better. I am still pursuing a minor in CompE though(It only requires four-five classes. I am including a link to the courses you will take for each program so you can decide for yourself.

Good Luck!

The easiest way to differentiate them is that CS is the science of programming a computer whereas computer engineering would be more like building the actual components and systems.
