which one is more difficult to learn? ie which one has tougher concepts?

which one is tougher to earn good grades in?

also, is computer science a competitive major? is it HARD for students to actually get IN to the major?

any info is appreciated:D

there is no definitive answer on which is more difficult conceptually.
Which is tougher to earn good grades in depends on your school. Probably they are the same since grading is done on a curve.

How hard to get IN the major depends on your department at your school.

In my experience, most of the single mom’s with drug issues do cs/ce, while the manly men stick with EE.

Because folks see the job opportunities of the Computer Science major (Homer to respond in 10…9…8…) many college freshman will initially sign up as a CS major. Therefore some colleges set high GPA’s to get admitted to the final 2 years of the program.

I know at Michigan State, a hopeful CS student needed like a 3.3 to 3.5 just to get admitted to the program.

Of course me, being the “workaround and loophole finding” guy I am, just majored in Math and constructed a CS major myself within the Math program…since the Math program only required a 2.5 for admission.
