Hi, I'm trying to major in computer science, which is what I'm interested in, But I'd also like to do some pre pharmacy classes which would be like hitting two birds with a stone. So, I'd like to ask you guys How will it be like taking those two, really hard? impossible? or if i try, I can do it? Comp Sci is my interest and I find chemistry very easy.

Very hard. The purpose?

well, just cause, It might be nice to have two degrees. If possible, I wanted to get BA in comp sci, and then get into pharmacy program.

Comp. Sci is very time consuming. I do not know much about pre-pharm. But D. has been pre-med, and it was also extremely time consuming and totally not related to anything in Comp. Sci. Well, I have Computer Programmer for more than 30 years and love my job. I would not pursue both of these just “because”. I do not believe it is a doable combo.

Of course it’s a doable combo, if he/she is willing to put in the effort.

thanks for the replies guys. I will see how it goes, but as of now it will be comp sci since I’m on my pc everyday for 17+ hours, more than enough reason to pursue comp sci. Though it’d be cool to lets say make your own type of a hybrid combo of both comp sci and pharmacy.

Everything is doable, there are 24 hours in day, one might not need any sleep, we are all very different. On the other hand, you might need more than 24 hours. Do not forget, all kind of EC’s you need if you are planning to apply to Med. School. Writing a workable programming code is not a walk in a park, I am very well aware of this side. It is not that you sit down and study, you will spend many days on your tiny computer program that does not do much to produce correct results. You will get faster after you start working as a programmer and gain experience, but not in school.

^Exactly, we all are very different. So then maybe OP can do it then.
