Is it doable to major in Comp Sci and have a pre-med schedule, while graduating in 4 years?

I’m sure its possible to get some pre-med courses in while doing CS, however it may also be very difficult. Most likely impossible in 4 years with course scheduling and availability. While attending Cal Poly I had one peer who graduated with an EE but she was able to take pre-med courses and get into med school. You could also explore the option of post-baccalaureate programs (not offered at Cal Poly) after graduating.

However, whats the motivation for going to CS if you want to go to med school or getting pre-med if you want to work in CS?

It would be hard to do both in 4 years mainly because the premed requirements keep increasing and CS majors are notorious for having lots of requirements for graduation.

Some schools offer a combination program like Biomedical computation where you will be required to do enough premed classes while also taking CS classes.
