Computer science program

What's the difference between the computer science at the college of engineering and college of literature, science and arts? Which is easier to get into?

There is no difference.

The only difference is that you need to take physics/chemistry in order to get into the CoE. Also, getting into LSA would be easier I’m pretty sure… I transferred into LSA with no declared major so they don’t even have to know that that’s what you’re planning on majoring in. You also get the same recruiting resources as those in CoE (yummy) if you’re in LSA. Oh yeah, you get a BS in LSA and a BSEng in CoE along with ABET accredidation (I’m pretty sure), but I don’t think ABET is necessary at all for comp sci and a BS is perfectly fine for CS.

I’m having a hard time deciding whether or not I should double major in Comp Sci and Math (LSA) or Comp Sci and another engineering field, maybe ee (CoE)

decisions decisions

the general distribution of credits differ(COE implies more science classes while LSA requires some languages to fulfill the requiremnts).
