Can anyone give me advice on how difficult computer science major is at TAMU?

Not sure how hard the major is, but im taking CSCE 206: Structured Programming in C++. The course is going great so far! They are really teaching us the material, and they assume no one has programmed prior to that class. I have never programmed, and am learning a lot, and the assignments I’ve turned in have been pretty easy.
