Computer Science Transfer Q's

Hello CC, I decided over the past few months that I want to pursue a CS major. I've been attending a local community college for a while now and have 22 credits until I have a regular Associates of Arts degree. I've taken a large variety of classes and fear that I won't be able to transfer to a University without taking additional classes.

I've never taken any Calculus, Physics, or Programming classes and I know CS is quite heavy on all three. I read what some programs require, but some want more than others.

Santa Clara University is one I am very interested in. It requires 2 english classes, which I have, 2 Calc classes, Two courses of calculus-based physics, and a general chem, all of which I do not have.

However, at some of the UC's I read that they want a full sequence of calculus and more.

How can I keep a variety of Universities I wish to apply to when so many of them have different transfer requirements?

Bump 10char

Are those courses all transfer requirements, or are they core requirements that must be completed before graduation?

I would recommend you also ask on the UC Transfer Students subforum as I am not familiar with UC requirements.

Not strictly requirements, only highly recommended before applying.
