I’m planning on transferring to CSULB for Spring 2020, but I haven’t completed General Chemistry 111B equivalent from my community college. I completed the other major requirements such as, Calculus I/II, General Chemistry 111A, and the programming courses required. How likely am I going to be accepted?
you need to have completed the required classes and have a competitive GPA. For LB, I’d think a 3.4 would do it.
General Chemistry 111B is listed under recommended courses. Would it affect my admission to CSULB? I had done the other recommended course which was CECS 174. https://www.csulb.edu/admissions/fall-2019-transfer-major-specific-requirements-coe
generally recommended is not required - but, you should confirm directly with CSULB.
