I am a computer science transfer student applying for the spring 2015 semester and I am looking at roughly five schools. At the moment I have applied to Ohio state, UT- Austin(I know its a long shot), and Florida state. I am not really sure about the other two schools but I am really trying to figure out whether or not FSU is going to be a decent safety net or if I need to apply to a CUNY or some other less selective school. Also open to other schools.

GPA: 3.62
Credit Hours: 26/38 after this semester

EC's:

I really dislike community college and so I have convinced my parents to let me go out of state. I want to go to UC Santa Barbara really bad but there is no way I am spending 2-3 more years here so that I might get in so I must go out of state.

Thanks for your help!
