Computer Science vs Electrical Engineering?

Yeah they are right, many of the prerequisites for both degrees are the same in the beginning so I wouldn’t worry about which one to major in right now. The beginning prereqs for both are college algebra, pre calc, calc, calc 2, physics 1 and 2 with lab, etc. You can take a little while to decide which one you want to major in.

Hey that’s a great idea! I’m going to do that right now! ((the excel recommendation))
@magnetron
I’m just trying to narrow down on a major because many of the schools I am applying to require me to pick a major upon applying. Also I’ve heard that it is hard to change your major. OH! I know about Harvey Mudd, it has a really good engineering program! I was considering applying, but the thing is, I live about five minutes away from the college and I wanted a change of scenery for my college experience. It’s kind of a silly reason…but eh.

I’m going to compare majors on excel and see how much overlap there is. I’m thinking of EE and then a minor in CS. We will see. Thanks so much for your help!!!

Why don’t you go in as an Engineering (undecided) major. That would work.
