<p>Hi, is computing 10A a weeder course for computer science? I've never had any programing experience whatsoever being that I'm a math major(for some reason they still require it for my major). So, hows the class? Is there a generous curve etc. </p>
<p>It's definitely not a weeder. You spend time to do the work and you'll be okay- my roommates were able to get 95+ on just about every assignment. It'll be different than what you're used to, but you should enjoy the satisfaction of being able to compile your own programs. I think everyone who I've known that has taken it has enjoyed it.</p>
<p>no, its not, computer science majors dont even take it, they take the cs 31/32/33 series of classes</p>
<p>PIC 10A is for college of letters and science students who likes computers I think lol, I think cs32 is the weeder one because cs31 was moderately easy because a lot of the engineers have to take it</p>
