hey
i was opting computer science for my undergraduate degree. But while visting the colleges websites i see many sub-fields in the same course which we gotta decide while applying
do you guyz know any details regarding this?

Do you mean something like computer science versus computer engineering versus software engineering? It depends on the schools, but:

Computer science: usually more software and theory oriented, though with many subspecialties and topics like operating systems, networks, databases, security, compilers, graphics, user interfaces, software engineering, etc…

Computer engineering: usually more hardware and computer architecture oriented, though some software courses closely related to hardware like operating systems, compilers, and networks are likely included.

Software engineering: like computer science, but with more software engineering process type of courses in place of some of the other topics.
