I was wondering how the experience was for the students who got in to CS after two years versus the direct admits. I prefer the direct admit route of course but since it is so competitive, do the regular route students do as well with future internships and jobs when they graduate?

Also my friend was at U Dub for CS and he felt overall his friends who went to Georgia Tech, Penn and Carnegie Mellon had a better CS education. Anyone know how it compares on a grand scheme of things?
thanks

The CS department at the UW ranks above Penn and Georgia Tech, but lower than CMU if you’re curious. If you get accepted to CS at the UW, it is a very strong and rigorous program. Regardless of where you go, if you excell, a good job offer is likely.
