What are the top Computer Science programs (top 20-30, or so)?

Note: This shouldn't be mistaken with Computer Engineering. Thanks for the help in advance. :)

hey alexandre you say U Mich's computer scoence program ranks lower than u Wash at SEattle? on what basis?

is really strong at CS. Some think it benefits from the location -- Microsoft Research.

Generally, the University of Washington's Computer Science department is ranked in the top 10 according to most rankings (USNWR and NRC). Michigan is ranked in the top 25, but I have yet to see anybody rank Michigan in the top 10 in Computer Science. But Michigan is up and coming and in some fields, like Artificial Intelligence, Michigan is already considered top 10.

You can't win them all. Seattle is very good and has a new Paul Allen funded building.
