will i die if i have no computer science experience in high school and i try to study it in college? i probably won't solely major in computer science.. many schools offer a major called 'math & computer science' or i might major in math and minor in computer science.

however, i feel like most computer science majors have been programming for fun for years..
will having no experience really hurt me? will my classes expect that i have experience already?

Well, as someone who has a fair amount of experience in Computer science in high school I can't imagine it will be a big deal. Much of college computer science is math and algorithms with a few language courses thrown in. You should be able to catch up fairly quickly. As long as you have a good mathematics base you should be fine.

No. CS programs start up from nothing. Unlike Math where you need to have had something in HS, nothing is required in CS. But it wouldn't hurt to get some experience (self taught, etc).
