Perhaps @whenyoubelieve can help answer specific questions you might have…?

If you have gotten the invitation to be a part of honors program, then you will have an option to join ACES (Advanced Cybersecutiy Experience for Students), which is an excellent program for CS Cybersecurity track students.

I’m still in my first year at UMD, so I can’t say much about cybersecurity here. However, I do know that the ACES Honors program at UMD has a really cool cybersecurity program for students, providing a good foundation for students that know nothing about cybersecurity coming into college. There’s also the ACES minor for juniors and seniors, which I’ve heard good things about. The computer science department at UMD also provides a cybersecurity specialization, which basically means that you’re pursing a computer science major, but taking upper-level classes focused on cybersecurity. I don’t know much about that, so I can’t say much about it. Sorry I couldn’t help more!
