<p>Besides Carnegie Mellon University, what other schools in the northeastern part of the united states have extremely good Computer Engineering / Software Engineering majors.</p>

<p>My main choice is Carnegie Mellon University as it is close to home (I live in the pittsburgh area) and is a top school for Computers / Robotics. My main worry is not getting in, even though I have a 4.2+ (Sophomore & Freshman Year) and have several Honors / AP classes this year (Junior). Any recommendations would be appreciated - and I am glad I have some time to figure this one out. :)</p>

<p>MIT of course is good. Cornell is very very good as well. Rensselaer is top notch as well.</p>
