Concentration

Hey guys,

i reviewed several of my past tests and noticed that the main reason why i get most of those questions wrong is because I am either being lazy or not concentrated enough or focusing. Energy drinks do not seem to help, or i am taking them wrong. i take one during the break.

How can i break this concentration-less spell? thanks soooo much, i am taking the SATs on the 27th

tough to answer directly, I suggest u to talk w/ ur counselor. For SAT particularly, try to have the RIGHT attitude when u walk into the test center.

Eat more protein and fewer carbs before you practice. If I eat something high in carbs, esp starchy carbs like pasta, rice or potatoes, I am mentally napping within 30 minutes. If I eat a tuna sandwich, I am really alert.

Give that a try.

I find that I get distracted during practice tests, too. My solution is more of a psychological thing...I just tell myself to stop being stupid and concentrate so I won't screw up my future. Overexaggeration, I know, but it works.

remind yourself that your entire future depends on this moment of concentration.
