i totally understand... we've got a good PharmD program up here, at Ferris State, but it's... basically right there. aaaaand a horrible reputation for a party school. i'd be miserable there.

I also love that we have until the end of our second year, but I think I want to do the Law, Letters, and Society major which means I have to know by the end of my first year -- if I'm accepted, because you have to apply for that concentration. So, that limits my options.

But, I want to double major in mathematics/economics. Woo Hoo!

I'm doing English Language and Literature. Hurrah.

im glad i wont be the only one studying classics

i thinking about doing the archaeology program, toooo

so hollllla if you are, too

I'm doing Humanities with a concentration on film courses. UChicago has a rubbish film program compared to say NU or USC or NYU, but the Humanities major is pretty nice as it has Writing for Television and such. And the film society makes up for the rubbish film major. And there is the Chicago International Film festival to get involved with possibly. Chicago is the better school for me than say UMich as it's Chicago and thus more opportunities abound.

linguistics with French and Arabic as my main two (required) languages....

and then I'd like to add as many more languages to that as possible...while improving my Spanish and Portuguese.

yes, I'm hopelessly destined to be a polyglot.

i love arabic, yay for caligraphy!

arabic caligraphy is awesome!

i have a lebanese friend who is pretty decent at it

i'm fluent in arabic so yeah, i love the language, and if i take my time my handwriting is pretty, but caligraphy is such an amazing art that can truly never be perfected, you know the guy who made the stamp with arabic caligrpahy on it?( i think it said Eid Sa'eed, which is happy eid in arabic) i met him and he showed us how he learned real caligraphy (in Turkey) and stuff it was sweet!
