<p>Is it better to approach the Why Penn as a formal essay, or a creative piece. I'm thinking the latter, but I am unsure. The formal essay approach just seems a bit too plain and common.</p>

<p>I wrote a creative why Penn essay-I it’s the most creative thing I can ever write so far. But I would advise you to go with whatever you feel confortable with. I know a lot of friends whose why Penn essays are formal, but able to convey their genuine interest in Penn and they WORK!</p>
