Concern about the PSAT

I hope I'm posting in the right thread here .. couldn't see any other places where I could post my PSAT concern.

So I got 9 questions wrong on my last Writing test in the Barron's SAT Writing prep book. This worries me since it's probably mid-600s and I was really hoping for something better.

As for CR, I cannot seem to get questions that deal with the author's assumptions, etc! Maybe I'm not really analyzing enough. But on Kaplan's SAT Test #4, I got a 540. :( But I made idiotic mistakes here since I got a 580 when I took the SAT as a 13 yr old. (now 16 yrs old)

Any chance of me raising my grades, possibly? If so, what books should I use? I have CB, Barron's SAT Tests, Barron's CR & Writing books, Kaplan SAT Tests, Kaplan CR & Writing books, Gruber's SAT Tests.

Wow. you sure have alot of books
I'd stick to CB material.

Yeah, my parents went a little crazy book shopping for me .. I'll use the CB book then from now. Thanks anhtimmy!!
