concerned about grades

i finished my junior year with 2 B's in ap Spanish and 2 B's in Math Analysis, and im kinda worried because junior years supposed to be important

my gpa is still at a 3.9 uw
sat: 2190
sat 2's: spanish - 750
history - 780
my ec's include clubs, volleyball, eagle scout, video production, speech and debate, and 600 hours of volunteering

what do you guys think? do you know people who made berkeley with bad junior year grades? what's the most important aspect of admission to the college (hopefully not grades)?

Franchise1:

Assuming you are a California resident,
UCLA: Match

really? even with 4 B's my junior year? i thought that would definitely hurt my chances! thanks, flopsy

I haven't been a straight A student since freshman year and I was fine...I never dropped below a 4.0 because of AP classes, but I'm assuming AP Spanish was not your only AP class?

oh boo hoo, i got around 4 Bs junior year and had not nearly the test scores/comm service as you and i got in. oh. im out of state. i would say you're definitly a match.

Plenty of CA kids didn't get in with better scores and grades and all that jazz. Depends on what you declare your major as and your essays.

I got the worse grades my junior year, 1 C first semester, 2 C's second semester. 3.83 gpa or something like that, but I had all AP's...

it was more like junioritis for me...i did perfectly well my senior year to make up for the crap i did junior year...

wait, how do you have a 3.9 unweighted with 4 B's????

my majors probably gonna be communications

im not sure, kfc4u, but thats how it appears on my transcript
