Concerning migraines.
My daughter had horrible migraines that were getting unmanageable. She is naturally interested (and good) in a variety of activities that compliment each other. It was good for awhile but then she ended up just going from the one place to the other and getting very fatigued. The problem was that she could not decide what to quit. In the end she chose to quit one activity and that open up some time to relax and changed everything for her. Yes, she misses it but on the other hand she does not have to be sick all the time. Same with food. She literately did not have time to eat. What good is all this? A lot o people instinctively guard their health and know where to stop but for others this is a skill to be learn. She also learned how to sometimes be absent from school or an obligation if she is sick. Previously she should just show up no matter what and therefore getting even sicker. As a parent I could ride with that and be proud of my “super” child but I did anything I could to teach her priorities. Please do not take this as a judgment for you. I am not implying your D is like mine. Just when I saw the mention of migraines I remembered the nightmare I ve been through. But everything is good now.
