I'm considering UCB as one of my top options for studying biology next year, but I have a few concerns. I know the biology program at Berkeley is great, but this also means there are a lot of students in the program. How difficult is it to get the classes you want/need in biology and how likely is it that you can graduate in four years? How cut-throat is the general learning environment in these big classes? Also, can anyone speak as to how many bio classes are graded on a curve and whether this will severely damage my GPA? Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
