<p>my english teacher (who used to be a writer and published a novel) always said that for the conclusion, you should write about the question "why is it important?" (as in, after you've written paper, talk about its significance). She said to NEVER summarize because that would be redundant since the reader has already read the body and should know what's going on.</p>
<p>my question is, considering the limited time SAT readers have and the innumerable number of essays they have to read, is the above stretegy a good one for the SAT essays or should we simply summarize in the conclusion what we said in the paper?</p>
