Concord Review Publication?

Hi,

how much does getting published in the Concord Review help?

Varsity Academics | Home of the Concord Review, the National Writing Board

Apparently, only 7% of papers get published and since 1987, of the 934 students published, 103 attended Harvard.

Thanks

Btw I have also posted this in the Harvard forum...

Correlation =/= Causation.
I know a few people from my school who have been published and some of them are amazingly talented, interesting people. Others are bookworms and still others wrote a good paper. For the most part, in my school’s sampling, those who have gained admission to top schools and were published in the Concord Review were excellent applicants without this honor.

To be honest, many individuals who get published in the Concord Review are HYPSM-esque applicants, but its not in anyway to due with their publication in the Concord Review.
