As a prospective student receiving your AA degree or 60 credits in addition to your high school diploma, we will be reviewing your college GPA, and the completion of prerequisite courses for your major, along with other pertinent information for transfer admission. Your major is very important in the transfer review process. Please contact the Office of Admissions immediately if you need to add or change your major.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to evaluate your college-level coursework.

A lot of DE students seem to be getting that message. I got in though, but it didnt say whether or not I got into engineering college, which is where I applied.

Same here. I applied for Biology/Pre-med as a high school/AA applicant and and never got any such messages. But i do know they evaluate high school/AA applicants for both freshman and transfer admissions. If they can’t admit you as a freshman, you can get admitted as a transfer student but you need to have completed all the pre-requisite courses for your major. What major did you apply for?

I got the same message!! I am really freaking out. I applied as a biochemistry major, but have not been accepted yet. That same message is all that is on my status. Any of you dual enrollment students get in tonight?? I just don’t understand why I haven’t found out yet.

I applied into Warrington for Economics. I meet all of the pre-requisites so I’m pretty hopeful, but now my chances are slightly lower than the average applicant. I’m extremely frustrated. I try to succeed by taking the hardest classes since day one, and now I’m being penalized for it. Excellent!

Admissions officers notice these things. If there are two options for a requirement, and one is clearly harder, I wouldn’t be surprised if they valued a B from the harder one as much or more than an A from the easier one.
