<p>Hi, first of all, I'm a senior and my uw gpa right now is not so hot. It's a 3.66, I believe. And my weighted gpa is a 3.83.
I'm two concurrent classes (sociology and political science(government)). But since polsci is just so boring,I haven't been paying much attention in that class and unfortunately didn't study for the first test (25% of our grade) or quiz (15% of our grade). And made C's on both of them :O Well, now I have to get a 100 on the remaining two tests (25% each) and participation grades (10%) to be able to get a 89.7 in the class. I don't think I can do that.
Earlier, I had calculated that if I got all A's in senior year, I would be able to finish with a 3.745 uw gpa (we're on block schedule and get grades for both 9wks) But this B totally throws it off and makes me end up with a 3.72 (provided that I get A's later on). The problem is that at the colleges I'm applying to (Uni of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State) require a 3.75uw gpa to get any of the ACT scholarships. I had talked to a rep earlier and she said that in cases like mine (gpa's very close to 3.75), they <em>occasionally</em> consider weighted gpa.
Oh! I also took a concurrent class over the summer and am planning to take two more next semester.
So, I guess my question actually is, do you think I should enter my college transcript on my
high school transcript? Will this B look bad later on? Should I take two high school classes instead of concurrent next semester to raise my gpa?</p>
<p>My classes this year (if it matters) are:
1st semester:
Peer advocate, APEnglish IV, two concurrent classes</p>
<p>2nd semester:
APCalc, Physics, two concurrent classes.</p>
<p>I wanted to take more AP, but our school changed its timing, so everything was just messed up
Anyway, provided that I’m able to get A’s in my AP classes, I’ll have a 3.9ish weighted gpa by the end of the year, I think. </p>
<p>Help, someone, please help! I’m freaking out about this and the ACT next Saturday, it’s just not a good day :(</p>
