I'll be going to Berkeley City College this spring and I wanted to take advantage of the concurrent enrollment program and take a class at UCB.

Since I'm a philosophy major, I really want to take History of Modern Philosophy so I can satisfy 1 of my 3 lower division prerequisites, but it's full! All 200 of the 200 spaces available are full, and there are 47 students on the waitlist, which has a capacity of 200.

1) Does anybody have any experience with the concurrent enrollment program?

2) How likely is it that I'll be able to get in?

3) Why does is the waitlist capacity 200 when other waitlists are significantly less than the actual class size? Does this mean that more people drop, so I'll have a greater chance of being enrolled?

Thanks!
