Concurrently apply to Jerome Fisher and Vagelos?

I am extraordinarily interested in ED applying to UPenn's Jerome Fisher M & T and Vagelos LSM joint degree programs. Currently, I am a junior in high school, but I was wondering if one could apply to both the Jerome Fisher and Roy and Diana Vagelos programs (assuming of course that I write both essays as well). I was initially drawn to JF the moment I heard about it because I've always wanted to do something business/science related but never knew if I really could. I planned on majoring in chemical engineering and economics. However, I just recently learned about the LSM program, which actually may fit my interests better since I'm more of a chemistry/bio person as opposed to a physical science/physics person. I actually interned with a professor from Princeton University in organic chem (with real lab experience) last summer (falling sophomore, rising junior). I would absolutely love to get into either program (I can't portray such potential elation in this thread), and I understand that they are extremely hard to get into, as only 50 get into JF and 25 for LSM. Therefore, is it possible to apply to both, just in case I do not get into one but may get into in the other? I mean even though LSM may fit my interests slightly better, it only accepts half the amount of people, so if I can only apply to one program, I might have to apply to JF.
To make it clear, I would not be unhappy in JF at all, and just because I am interested in chem/bio doesn't mean I dislike math or numbers. I love pure and applied mathematics (I'll have taken multivariable calc, linear algebra, diff equations, complex analysis, and pure analysis by the time I'm out of high school), but I have not taken physics C, which may false portray a dislike for engineering to application officers. I will have taken physic B, ap chem, and ap bio out of high school. Coupled with my orgo chem internship, which I will do in the upcoming two summers of my high school year if I can't get an impressive or useful business internship, I think my resume will seem better fitting for LSM. However, honestly, I'd be just as suited for JF and I think my resume shows that, just (ever so) slightly less than it does for LSM. Sorry for the long post, but I just wanted a feel of my options with these programs, and I wanted to make it clear that I would not apply to JF just for the sake of getting in, but because I am just as genuinely interested in it as I am for LSM.

No, you can only apply to one dual degree program.

In that case, which would be better to apply to? I only want to apply both for the sake of maximizing my chance of getting into either program, not because I want to enroll in both.

flip a coin. they’re equally hard.

or, you can see if you prefer engineering or biology/life sciences. engineering - choose M&T. life sciences - choose vagelos.

sounds like to me you are more geared towards vagelos (chem and bio oriented… i think..)

m&t to me is more like engineering involved so yah..

well you’re the one that said it.
biological sciences and what not interests you more. =]
Thats probably the way to go if you plan on applying ED or even regular.
