So I recently found out I've been accepted into Cal Poly SLO for the next fall quarter, and I'm nervous that my conditional acceptance will be rescinded because I dropped my classes last quarter. I received Ws so it didn't affect my GPA, which is still a 3.21. I was wondering how my acceptance will be reevaluated, if anybody's been in a similar situation. I will still completely my transfer and prereq requirements. But I'm just anxious because I really want to go :(

Are we talking all classes? And, you WS from them after you submitted your application? If so, it sounds like you didn’t successfully complete the work in progress that was on your application (which likely your offer was contingent upon). So, that alone will probably trigger your offer to get a review. What they will decide, I haven’t a clue.

The only person who can definitively answer your questions is sitting in the Admissions office. To relieve your anxiety, why can’t you contact your rep, and ask? Personally, I always think it is better to be up front about things. It’s not like they are not going to find out anyway. Maybe they’ll say that is not a big deal as you met all the basic requirements without that semester. Maybe not, but I think it would look better to them that you are trying to be proactive. Besides, if your rep tells you things look grim, then you have the heads up now and can start working on your appeal.
