I'm not sure if I'm in the right section of the forum but hopefully it correlates with it. I've been Conditionally Accepted to CSUSB because of my Performing Arts credits so I made up those credits at another school before the end of the school year. At the end of the school year, my high school sent the final transcript to CSUSB which was at the end of May. Until this day, nothing new changed on the status of my admission so I sent another 2 final transcripts to CSUSB but yet nothing came through. Finally I decided to call but after being transferred to MANY different stations a worker told me that my information was given to EOP (Even though I completed all my credits) which may be the problem of none of my information being approved. Again, after being transferred to many stations I come across a rude lady telling me there were no records of me in EOP because I've never applied for the program. It seems like they are avoiding accepting me for some reason. Does anyone know if there is a way around this because obviously the school isn't giving me much answers.

Is anyone available in your HS guidance office? If so, ask that person to help you with the phone calling.

Can you visit in person? If so, get a couple sealed copies of your HS transcript, load up on your patience, and go early so you have as much time as needed to traipse around from one office to another.

And keep track of the names and titles of everyone you speak with so that if you get “We don’t have a file for you.”. You can refer specifically to the person who told you that the file was sent and when.

So what your saying is that we should talk to one of my high school counselors to check in for me? Today we were going to head to CSUSB to talk to them in person about what is going on. Should I call them and attempt the last paragraph’s maneuvers?

If your guidance counselor has good connections at this university, ask for his/her help.

If your guidance counselor doesn’t (or isn’t available) then visiting in person is probably the best plan.

So we visited my High School yesterday and all my counselors were gone until the 29th of this month but the records department was still open. They handed me a free official transcript to give to CSUSB. They told me hopefully now they don’t have an excuse that they didn’t receive my transcript. Now it’s just a matter of time before the deadline for it to approve; I’m still wondering why is it taking so long and if hand delivering it would still amount to the same wait time.

All you can do is go pay them a visit, and see what happens.

Good luck!!!
