Conditional Transfe Offer. Any help greatly appreciated

It is June 1st, already the supposed dates of waitlist decision notification, and yet I have got nothing. I read the conditional transfer offer description in Emory's website, which will is an invite-only program to watilisted students by the conclusion of waitlist. "After successful completion of a full academic year at another accredited university or college beyond the Emory University system, students selected and approved for Conditional Transfer Admission will join Emory's sophomore class. The terms and conditions of this acceptance will be detailed when an offer of conditional acceptance is made."

Here are the question
1). Is there a selection process in picking candidates viable for the conditional transfer offer?
2) which schools are emory-accredited?
3) How are they going to select and approve students qualified for conditional transfer admission, after a year at another schools?
4) when will the offer of conditional acceptance is made?

Any help is grealty appreciated

It says “another accredited university”. This means any accredited university. Conditional indicates that you probably need some minimum GPA and credit hours to be able transfer. I believe Cornell has a similar program (one friend my freshman year used it to be closer to home). This is how I’d imagine it would work. You meet the minimum criteria and you get an auto-transfer.

Thank you bernie 12. So just to firm up, any candidate remain interested after the conclusion of the wait list will get auto-transfer when the minumum requirement is met, right? Then what has that to do with the “invite-only” statement, mildly confused.

Only some students from the waitlist will be offered the conditional transfer option. Those offered it have to meet minimum requirements for them to remain eligible for the auto transfer.

Excerpted from the admission page, “Students not offered admission from the wait list will be notified by email or by letter that wait list activity has been concluded”. The watilst supposed to close by June 1, which was yesterday, and I have got not no email. Should I go ahead phoning Emory’s office?

If they send a letter, it may take a while. Give it a couple of days.
