My grades were never fantastic, average if anything.

All my requirements are done, except for one last algebra 2 class.

Sat's were 1780

My Gpa is around a 2.7

now...here's my question:

I recently received a D in a class titled "summative math". This class does not count as a college prep class, nor for highschool. It's merely seen as an elective to continue your math career in highschool. Will colleges, specifically Cal State East Bay and LA, deny me based on this?

My first semester grades of senior year go as follows:

Art: B
Economics: A
Ap English: B
Avid:A
Summative Math: D
