Will Berkeley really rescind your admission if you do not meet the 3.0/no grade lower than a C requirement? And what about C-'s? =/

C-'s are fine.

They will rescind your admission. It hapened to my friend. But if you have a good reason, they are usually willing to let you come in on the condition that you will be on academic probation. If you come to Cal and get above a 2.0 first semester, they'll keep you here. If you get under a 2.0, you're gone.

Is it a 3.0 your entire senior year or justu second semester. I was under the impression that it was your entire senior year ( like it said in the contract) and therefore am not worried about getting C's since i got straight a's last semester, but I'm kinda scared now. Anyone know if its second semester only?

its prob. best if you call the admissions office and speak to someone directly

Your entire senior year.

When I talked to them, they said that it was " a significant grade drop" from your applying GPA. For example, if you applied with a 4.0, if it drops below a 3.5 they wonder what is going on....(to be honest, i think they told me below a 3.7....)

That's what they told me 3 years ago anyway although the people who answer the phones are usually students who aren't sure.
