Conditions of Admission UC DAVIS question

Good morning,

Transfer student, accepted to Davis. The contract says to maintain a 2.8 but do they mean to get a “2,8” in the spring semester grades/gpa or maintain a Cumulative/Overall gpa above 2.8?
“Complete all transferable in progress or planned courses with a GPA of 2.80 or higher, with no grade less than “C,” by the end of your spring term. To achieve the minimum overall UC-transferable grade point average required, you may need to achieve higher than “C” grades.”

  1. Also, if i get my official sealed transcript from my college, can i drop it off to the UC personally? or do they only accept mailed transcripts.

If you updated your TAU with Fall grades, then in-progress/planned courses would be Spring semester so a 2.8 for Spring semester would be my interpretation. If in doubt, call admissions and ask or if you are dropping transcripts, ask then.

As long as your college transcripts are sealed, they should accept them if you drop them off.

@Gumbymom Thank you! The think is it says overall minimum uc transferrable gpa so thats what had me confused.
