so i got admitted a while ago. Is the GPA I have to maintain last semester 3.0 WEIGHTED or 3.0 UNWEIGHTED. As of now, I have no D’s. My GPA this semester is 3.0 WEIGHTED. I know it won’t drop below that GPA but I’m still kind of worried?

the sad part of that is its neither
for Davis it says to maintain the GPA you had that they admitted you off of which worries me
They are vague to what they want.

For me I had like a 3.2? or something unweighted for overall GPA but my second semester junior year was a 3.667(unweighted) and first semester senior year was a 3.667(unweighted) and now I’m like at a 3.167-3.5(unweighted)…which includes having one D(well its not a D but it might be one) so I’m freaking out…technically I still meet the GPA thing right? and if my grade doesn’t drop that means it’ll be lowest like a 3.3 which means I meet the conditions right?

Also does UC Davis weight senior year grades? I already have over the accepted amount before senior year but would they weight my three senior year classes as well when they look at my admission?

I was kinda wondering the same thing, mine says “Complete all transferable courses in progress or planned with a GPA of 2.90 or higher, with no grade less than “C,” in addition to being in good standing at each collegiate institution that you have attended.”
I have a feeling that this means that they don’t want your GPA to drop below 2.90 (overall gpa, not just the GPA for your last semester). anyone called them to confirm this?

mine doesnt say that haha since i’m a freshman applicant

Wait I’m also a freshman applicant what does your conditions of admission say?

1.
Maintain Academic Performance

Continue to achieve academically at the same level or higher upon which your admission was based. You must complete all courses listed on your admission application for the 12th grade with grades of “C” or better, and graduate from high school. “Pass” grades are NOT acceptable.

2.
Report Any “D” or “F” Grades and Dropped Courses

If you receive any grade lower than “C” or drop any course(s), you have not met your conditions of admission and must immediately submit an explanation, to our MyAdmissions website along within your plans to repeat or make up the course(s). If you have previously informed us of your “D” or “F” grade(s) or dropped course(s) by mail or e-mail, you will still need to provide an explanation at this website.

3.

The umm maintain academic performance thing is kind of vague. I guess just get above 3.0 weighted with no D’s/F’s.

^thats the same as mine
they don’t give more info when i call them :(

its kind of hard to maintain academic level at same or higher because one does that not what their admission was based on?

Typically 3.0 weighted should be fine. Hang in there.
