<p>Welp, I just did my academic advising yesterday and got no additional information on how these conference courses work. From what I understand, it's just like an independent study course where the professor will assign reading/research and you just do the stuff and update him on your progress. Is this right? Do I have to meet 3 hours a week with my professor if I sign up for a 3 hour conference course or is that just supposed to be proportional to the amount of work that I am assigned? Is this a pass/fail credit? Also, I am looking into doing this through the math department. Thanks!</p>
