Confessions of a College Admissions Reader

<p>I initially read this article thinking that it was satire/fiction. Unfortunately for all of the great hard-working students out there, it is not. Though there are many issues raised in this piece, the main one is how ultimately subjective, random, and (at times) unprofessional the decision making process is. Glad to cross Berkley off my son's list of engineering schools. </p>
