Confirmation email and other questions

I applied to Columbia on 10/30 and got an email from the Common App website saying i’d submitted everything but I still haven’t gotten my login info via email from the school itself…should I be worried?

Also, does anyone know if first quarter grades are mandatory to submit for ED applicants? mine won’t be released till mid-November and I’d prefer to not send them

I send in my application a week ago, and received my login today! So it can take some time.

I just got my Columbia email today. No, you don’t need to submit first quarter grades

"Please have your school submit the Mid-Year Report as soon as first quarter or first trimester grades are available if you are an Early Decision candidate; for Regular Decision candidates, as soon as first semester or second trimester grades are available. We will accept the documents either electronically or in paper form via postal mail or fax.

We request that Mid-Year Report/senior grades are submitted by February 1, or as soon as they are available. If you have completed high/secondary school at the time of application, it is not necessary to send in new documents.

We do not track Mid-Year Reports/senior grades through the online tracking system."

Pretty sure first marking period grades are necessary; I sent them in just in case (I applied ED).

@arose99 thank you! I ended up sending them to be safe because they weren’t as bad as I predicted. I also got a confirmation email the day after I posted this, oops
