I submitted my application a few days before the deadline and have not received any confirmation of the application receipt from Pomona by email, as they say they do on their website. Has anyone else who applied recently received an email confirming it was received?

I just received one today and I applied probably about 2 weeks ago, maybe longer.

I received mine today at around 3pm eastern. I applied ED2.

dolphindolphin – when did you submit your application?

I submitted Dec 28 and got my confirmation email at 2:52 pm est today. Regular decision.

Sometimes it takes a long time to log stuff in, especially if you sent supplements. For one college, it took them three weeks to send me an email. And that was back in November. So don’t sweat it (because I haven’t gotten one either).

I submitted on Jan 2, and it hasn’t downloaded my application yet.

I submitted my appplication Dec 29th and my supplement Jan 1st, and I got the confirmation today.

Relax if you don’t get one for a while. I submitted my application late, and didn’t get a notification for a couple weeks.

I submitted mine on 11/27. I have sent 2 emails to admissions asking for a confirmation email. Both time, including today, I was told that it may take much more time until they get through their piles of paperwork. I can’t believe others on this thread have received emails almost immediately!

I submitted December 22 I believe.

I submitted mine on Dec.30 and I recieved the Confirmation on Jan.5 but it was the same exact confirmation I got after sending in the Preliminary Application. :/

I submitted on the 1st, it was downloaded on the 6th (??), and there has been no sign of activity on Pomona’s end as of today, the 11th/12th.

I am concerned… Princeton acknowledged my application within the first half-hour of the 2nd. I thought how “the admin runs like butter” means paperwork-y stuff like this gets done quickly?
