Confirmation email?

I applied to Southern Connecticut Dec. 2nd and received emails from both Common App and Collegeboard that my application and Sat scores were sent but I have not received anything from Southern saying they’ve gotten my application. Honestly this is my safety school but I still want to make sure my back up is set. Just because I didn’t get an email, does that mean they won’t review my application?

“Just because I didn’t get an email, does that mean they won’t review my application?” They spend tens of thousands of dollars to get ppl to apply. You’ve applied, CA has confirmed they’ve transmitted your info – and now SC will simply ignore your application? Sound logical?

If you’re that worried, call them. Speak to a live person. simple, no?

@T26E4 wow didn’t need the sarcasm just wondering if other people had not gotten a confirmation email and knew why. I’m not saying they would ignore my application, just the lack of confirmation makes it seem that something might have happened to it which caused them to not get my application. Which is logical reasoning, by the way.

My apologies. I’m not trying to be sarcastic – I’m just trying to inject humor into a worrisome process. I get that the app process may seem to be weighted against all the students – I’m just trying to say that the colleges have been doing this for a very long time. If they’re not successful in processing and admitting students, they shut down. It’s their main purpose.

Many schools don’t have an email notification. To alleviate all concerns, simply call SC to confirm. Good luck w/your process and the waiting required.
