Confirmation for sending in deposit via snail mail?

So my mom sent in my tuition deposit like last wednesday without knowing that she could easily have done it online. But just to make sure, is there any kind of confirmation that we get for sending it in that way? I haven't gotten any emails or seen anything after logging in the applicant services page/../

If you get your email "address," that's the sign they've received your deposit.

what if the email address is at hecky or casbah ones you received from them as opposed to the northwestern.edu one?

That is your email address. For me, sending a letter to either dfleishman at northwestern, or dsf437 at hecky.it.northwestern, will yield the same result. They are the same thing.

If you haven't sent in your deposit, you wouldn't receive your name @ northwestern.edu

hmm, I actually set up my e-mail and went to some online directory to change my "nick name" to m-chen which made my e-mail m-chen@northwestern.edu instead of ms91491@lulu.it.northwestern.edu

you actually didn't have to do that. You automatically get initial-lastname@northwestern.edu; if you deleted your "nickname" that would still be your email address. Nickname is only good for changing it to something different, i.e. mchen or chen-m or something. (Actually I believe it's "alias" not nickname, for those who are confused.)

if you sent in you deposit they will automatically change it for you, like everyone else said. that's what mine did this morning and you'll get a confirmation email saying that they have received your deposit and you're enrolled into NU

someone from Feinberg just sent me an e-mail to "rack the courts" for the students. hmmmm......?

do you get a confirmation email at your northwestern.edu email? cuz i haven't received ANYTHING via snail mail or via my normal email address. i DID receive an email at my northwestern.edu email that said i "indicated my intention to enroll" ... is that not it? cuz i was pretty sure you could get an email address even before you sent in a deposit..

Yeah, the email you receive at your nothwestern email is it.
