Confirmation of uPenn Application

<p>Will we receive any sort of confirmation from uPenn on the receipt of our app? Will we receive info on how to login to check status? Thanks.</p>

<p>I applied a few days after Christmas and got my e-mail within a day or two. Not sure if that helps or not.</p>

<p>I recevied an email saying something like… thanks for applying, here’s your username so that you can access your Penn Portal account. </p>

<p>I’m a little confused because they keep saying that they’ll send me a second email with my password (they’ve already given me my username), but I’ve received three emails so far and they all only contain my username? Has anyone else encountered this problem?</p>

<p>I haven’t received any emails yet. When should I start to worry? I applied the day before the deadline.</p>

<p>I got two identical messages with only my username too. Both of them mention the second email with the password, but I haven’t received that yet.</p>

<p>@sunny cali-- well you will receive a mail with your app conformation and then a another one with your password asking you to access your Penn portal…</p>

<p>Idk if the same conditions apply, but I am an admitted ED student and I received my username about 2.5 weeks after I submitted my application. Some people got theirs within 2 days. I called & e-mailed the office numerous times but every time they just said to wait.</p>

<p>CHECK YOUR SPAM. I was freaking out cause I hadn’t received an email. Was sitting in my spam folder. Along with other important emails. Sucked.</p>

<p>What are the 2 emails that we need to be looking for?One for Penn supplement/commonapp receipt & other for username credentials??Are those what you all mean when you say 2 emails?

<p>the first email which confirms receipt of application and gives the username, second which contains the password</p>
