How do you know if your application was already received? Do you get a confirmation card of some sort or do you have to call Georgetown to find out?

WOW. You people are trippin out. Calm down. They'll tell you if they didn't receive it. What are the chances that it got lost in the mail? If it was they would tell you by email or phone. I know you guys are excited, but damn. Take one of them chill pills.

My understanding...most schools send an email, and a post card or letter by snail mail....Good Luck!....and BREATHE!!!

I don't think they send anything, except for when you turn in the first part with the fee. I know they got mine because I sent it return-receipt, but they haven't emailed me or anything.

I did get an email confirmation that my app materials were all there on Nov 7, a week after I FedExed my things out. So kokomokiwi, maybe you just need more patience and wait.

well i didnt get anything telling me that they had received everything, and they haven't called my counselor asking for anything either, so i hope that they got it all

I didn't receive anything either, and I doubt that all of us would have had our applications lost in the mail, so I wouldn't worry about it.

i also got an email confirmation for part I and part II

Oh... well in that case, who knows? I got an email for part I, but nothing for part II.

Yea I only got one for Part I. I am not trippin though.

I just got my confirmation email yesterday, and this is what it said.

Yup got my Part II e-mail today

Got my Part II today as well.

AHHHA ***???!!!!!!!! Are u fing serious? Jp, jp I got mine too.

interesting, I actually have yet to receive this email. I'll wait a few days before I start freaking out though.

I haven't got it yet either. On a similar note, has anyone not been contacted for an interview?

I called them about that and they gave me the email address of the person who was handling my application and who was assigning me to an interviewer. I assume that you are applying rd, so you have time, but I would suggest that you call the admissions office and give them your application number so that they can check.

I got my part I confirmation and interview info really quickly. I had my interview around three weeks ago. Confirmation for part II... not so much so.

Okay. I called the admissions office today to see if everything was in, and was told that if anything was missing, that I would have gotten a phone call! Did anybody get phone calls??????

no but when a friend of mine was missing something for her application to gtown, they called the college counselor and not the student. if you don't get a phone call at this time, that is a good thing.
