Hello. I submitted my application to several colleges this past Saturday. One of them in particular said that it could take them up to ten business days to reach back out with an email confirming they received my application, as well as linking me to the portal where I can track the status of my required documents such as transcripts and letters of reccomendations. I am getting nervous that I will miss out on early action because I may not receive this email in time. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Thanks.
As long as you submit your application by the EA deadline, you’re fine. Have you requested your transcript, recs, and test scores to be sent? Some colleges you can self-report test scores until admission, so read the instructions on their website carefully.
The email with access to portal, etc. is ‘on them’ and not related to the submission deadline.
