I sent my application (online) on 24th December and havent received any confirmation yet. I realize that things will take longer because I'm and intl student but I heard that Yale is pretty efficicent about these things. So when should I start worrying?
Also is there any way to track individual parts of my application?

i got mine recently. submitted 31 dec.
no, there's no way to track. more's the pity.

i submitted mine the day it was due, and i just looked at my email after opening this post, and there my confirmation was. it said this:

This message is to let you know that your application to Yale has been
received and entered into our database.
You will be receiving an acknowledgement by mail as well that has
additional information.
You will receive another notification (via postcard) when your application
is complete. Thank you for your interest in Yale!

yeah i got the email too.
I was wondering about the postcard.

didn't get anything, starting to get worried because i havent gotten anything from any of my colleges

It's too early to start worrying. Give them a call in february if you still haven't gotten anything. They might not be able to tell you anything now if they're in the middle of processing.

I got the email, then the postcard...but the postcard was so ambiguous! I wasn't sure if it meant they got all my stuff...or just my part...I guess I'll wait and see if they're missing anything...
